Today, Tuesday 15 October, the first of the three days of conferences organized by ECOSYSTEX, the European Community which aims to create a Sustainable Textile Ecosystem, ended.
ECOSYSTEX, the European hub for circularity in the textile sector
The objective of the event is to once again draw attention to the importance of generating a network of collaborations in the field of textile sustainability and the circularity of processes in this sector. ECOSYSTEX, in fact, thanks to the participation of its 39 member projects, since 2023 unites professional figures such as academic and applied researchers, technology developers, textile industry experts and other interested parties from all over Europe, positioning itself as a European knowledge center central and, therefore, as a point of reference for its participants.
The ECOSYSTEX event: from 15 to 17 October
The event takes place in Milan from 15 to 17 October at Accenture Customer Innovation Network, located in Piazza Gae Aulenti 8. Three days full of conferences, workshops and plenary sessions during which the latest updates of EU policies and new research opportunities, we will take a look at the case studies promoted by four ECOSYSTEX member projects, we will discuss the next actions to be implemented relating to the digital product passport and we will study the new strategies in terms of innovation and sustainability that can be adopted in the fashion and luxury sector.
Holonix together with Trick at the ECOSYSTEX event
Holonix, as a partner of the European Trick project (G.A. 958352), will have the opportunity to take part in the speech on Wednesday 16 October at 2.30 pm “Optimising data exchange: evaluation, technologies and future opportunities”. Building a collaboration network is not simple and involves the adoption of a common and secure system for exchanging information. It is precisely from here that the concept of Data Space was born, a digital ecosystem also applicable to the management of the digital product passport for fashion.
