Project goals
The project aims to develop and demonstrate an innovative DQM system and an implementation strategy to support the European manufacturing industry in achieving near-zero defect manufacturing.
Specifically, the project aims to:
- Development and testing of a Digital Quality Management (DQM) platform and strategies to support the manufacturing industry in implementing the zero-defect paradigm in dynamic and variable manufacturing environments
- Selection of sensors and actuators for process monitoring and control, and their integration
- Definition of a DQM system architecture providing security, reliability and integrity in data management and enabling knowledge extraction
- Creation of AI-based real-time modeling and analysis strategies for the configuration, adaptation and reconfiguration of the process chain
- Validation of 5 industrial use cases and development of cross-sector and multi-domain metrology and control strategies to illustrate benefits in terms of product quality and data reliability
The role of Holonix
Holonix is responsible for the development of the data management layer of the Digital Quality Management (DQM) platform, contributing to the definition of the overall architecture and functional elements to ensure interoperability, security and data integrity.
In particular, data will be processed and enriched in order to allow for information extraction and to support the analytics and digital twin application.
Holonix will provide its machinery management tool i-Live Machines, with the purpose of developing new innovative and prototypical features to support advanced data cloud management and view, with a direct application for the end users of the project.
Key competences to be strengthened or acquired
Our skill set in data gathering, data management, data reliability and integrity, cloud interoperability, and defining complex software architectures will be expanded.
