Project goals
MODUL4R aims to advance manufacturing with robust and autonomous modular production lines and supply chains. These advancements will allow low-volume production of new products, as well as capacities to rapidly adapt to unexpected situations and changeable supply chains.
The project proposes a holistic framework applicable to both new and existing manufacturing lines to achieve flexibility, rapid responsiveness, and sustainability.
MODUL4R is going to be demonstrated in specialized mould manufacturing for the automotive sector, CPPS for flexible & modular assembly of PCBs, and tools manufacturing for the aerospace.
Holonix's role and activities
- To make available on the cloud a SaaS middleware solution that implements streaming, data archiving, and subsequent retrieval of large volumes of data, optimizing related services and performance
- Support MODUL4R diagnostics and prognostics for resiliency by enabling semantic tagging and knowledge extraction.
- Apply to pilot machines, connecting network of devices and sensors.
