Project goals
RemaNet aims at enabling also not-expert companies to remanufacture components and systems, developing functionalities, platforms and methods for sharing know-how and facilities.
RemaNet IT platform will manage EoL flows, defining a set of operations that have to be performed in order to restore the system/component; it offers the possibility to define “federated” users, so that each user can provide its know-how and assure at the same time the certification of the remanufactured component. Users can be designated as ‘federated,’ allowing each to contribute their expertise while also ensuring certification of the final refurbished component through remanufacturing.
Project will work on 4 use cases, about respectively reconditioning of tools, remanufacturing of electrical motors, management of EoLs in automotive sector, and remanufacturing of compressors to be then applied to the hydrogen sector.
Holonix's role and activities
- Provide a middleware Saas solution which implements streaming and persistency of massive data flows enabling the new remanufacturing business model;
- Make available the IIoT infrastructure on which RemaNet platform is based;
- Interconnect machinery with cloud in order to enable process and machine dataflows needed to certify the remanufactured product.
